Terms and Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

 

1.1 These terms and conditions (hereinafter “Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between:

(hereinafter “Operator”)

and any visitor, customer, or user of the website (hereinafter “Customer”).

1.2 These Terms apply to the provision of restaurant services and orders made through the website:

www.spejle.eu
(hereinafter “Website”)

1.3 The Operator provides hospitality services, including the sale of meals and beverages, online ordering, and the sale of gift vouchers through the Website.

1.4 The restaurant operates at two locations:

  • Jindřišská 16, Prague 1
  • Jungmannova 20, Prague 1

1.5 Personal pickup of orders made through the Website is only possible at the Jungmannova 20, Prague 1 location, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. CONTRACT CONCLUSION

 

2.1 An order made through the Website constitutes an offer to enter into a contract.

2.2 The contract is concluded at the moment the Operator confirms the order to the Customer by email or other electronic confirmation.

2.3 The Operator reserves the right to refuse the order in case of:

  • unavailability of the ordered goods or services,
  • obvious pricing errors,
  • suspected misuse of the ordering system.

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

 

3.1 All prices displayed on the Website are in Czech crowns (CZK) and include VAT according to applicable legislation.

3.2 Payment methods are:

  • cash or card upon personal pickup at the Jungmannova 20, Prague 1 location,
  • cash upon delivery of the order.

4. DELIVERY CONDITIONS

4.1 Ordered products can be collected:

  • personally at Jungmannova 20, Prague 1 (personal pickup is only available at this location),
  • or via a delivery service if available.

Personal pickup is not possible at Jindřišská 16, Prague 1, unless explicitly stated on the Website.

4.2 The Customer is obliged to check the order upon receipt.

5. GIFT VOUCHERS

 

5.1 The Operator offers the sale of gift vouchers (“Voucher”) through the Website.

5.2 The Voucher can be purchased electronically or in printed form according to the current offer on the Website.

5.3 The Voucher:

  • is transferable,
  • cannot be exchanged for cash,
  • cannot be split into multiple vouchers unless stated otherwise.

5.4 The validity of the Voucher is indicated on the voucher or at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, the validity period is 12 months from the issue date.

5.5 After the expiration date, the Voucher becomes void without any compensation.

5.6 The Operator is not responsible for lost or stolen Vouchers.

5.7 If the value of services used is less than the nominal value of the Voucher, the difference will not be refunded unless stated otherwise.

5.8 If the value of services exceeds the nominal value of the Voucher, the Customer must pay the difference.

6. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT

 

6.1 In accordance with § 1829 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of conclusion.

6.2 This right does not apply to:

  • goods liable to rapid spoilage (e.g., prepared meals),
  • services that have already been fully performed.

6.3 In the case of gift vouchers, the Customer may withdraw within 14 days from purchase if the voucher has not been used.

7. COMPLAINTS

 

7.1 Complaints are governed by the applicable law of the Czech Republic.

7.2 The Customer must report any defects without undue delay:

  • personally at the restaurant,
  • by email to the contact address provided on the Website.

7.3 The Operator will resolve the complaint no later than 30 days from its submission unless agreed otherwise with the Customer.

8. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

 

8.1 The Operator processes personal data in accordance with the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll.

8.2 Personal data are processed for the purpose of:

  • order fulfillment,
  • accounting and tax records,
  • communication with the Customer,
  • marketing activities (only with consent).

8.3 Detailed information on personal data processing is provided in a separate “Privacy Policy” available on the Website.

9. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

 

9.1 Consumers have the right to alternative dispute resolution for consumer contracts.

9.2 The body for alternative dispute resolution is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).

10. FINAL PROVISIONS

 

10.1 These Terms are valid and effective from the date of their publication on the Website.

10.2 The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms. The new version becomes effective on the date of publication on the Website.

10.3 Legal relations are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
